This class is perfect for expectant parents, grandparents, and other infant caregivers. This class combines content from the Infant CPR & Safety and Newborn Care 101 classes.
Class topics will include:
- Infant CPR and Choking including practice with infant mannequins
- Car seat safety
- Heat stroke prevention
- Safe infant sleep preparation
- Safe baby wearing techniques
- A little about infant feeding
- A little about newborn sleep
- Diapering
- Bathing
- Soothing
- Normal and weird newborn behavior and appearance
This is not a certification class, but many families report feeling much more confident after taking it. We look forward to connecting with you. Your registration covers you and another adult. Partners are welcome and encouraged to attend.
