Based in Frisco, TX, your role as the DFW Region Clinical Lactation Team Coordinator will be pivotal in representing our company across the region and supporting our commitment to maternal and child health.
Key Responsibilities:
Representation: Serve as the face of Breastfeeding Success in the DFW region at all hospitals we serve.
Compliance & Standards:
- Participate in on-site surveys with the Joint Commission to ensure compliance with standards.
- Assist in identifying needs for and developing BFS Clinical Practice Standards
Coordination & Support:
- Collaborate closely with our Inpatient Clinical Director to collect crucial data and assist our IBCLC team with their onsite needs.
- Assist with creation of staff schedules and serve as the point person for staffing decisions throughout the region.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for hospital staff educators who request lactation training/shadowing days for newly hired nurses, to ensure adequate team coverage and assigning the training shifts to the LC team.
Training/Mentoring:
- Precept and train new team members, helping them to achieve and understand the BFS clinical practice standards and expectations of their position.
- Monitor and support team members progress toward goals and complete clinical skills check-off to document completed competencies.

The optimal candidate will have experience in hospital administration or customer service in the medical field. Your background will equip you well to navigate the dynamic and rewarding environment within healthcare settings.
IBCLC certification preferred
